How we inspect
Every ball gets cleaned before it gets judged. Dirt comes off first, then we grade the cover, shape, logo wear and playability under bright inspection light.

Air dried before inspection so cover damage is visible.

Every ball is checked for cuts, cracks, shape and cover wear.

Only balls that match the grade make it into the box.
Premium
Premium
Excellent condition. Very light evidence of previous play.
Near-new appearance after cleaning. Logos remain sharp. Surface is smooth with only the faintest signs of prior rounds. These are the balls you put in the bag for the course that matters.
Pristine
Near-new cover, bright white finish, sharp stamp.
Tournament and regular play when appearance matters.
A
A Grade
Clean, high-quality balls with minor cosmetic marks. Ideal for normal rounds.
Professionally cleaned and inspected. May show light player pen, slight logo wear or small cosmetic scuffs that do not affect play. The everyday player’s best value.
Light marks
Small player marks or light logo wear. Fully in play.
Standard rounds and regular play.
B
B Grade
More visible wear but completely playable. Excellent for practice, casual rounds and golfers who lose balls regularly.
Honest wear, still a proper golf ball. Discolouration, heavier logo fade or more obvious marks are acceptable. Sorted so you know exactly what you are getting.
Visible wear
Scuffs you can see, no cuts or structural damage.
Casual rounds, wet days and higher-loss golf.
Practice
Practice
Functional balls intended primarily for practice.
Playable and cleaned, selected for the range, short-game sessions and days when the ball is not coming home. Not graded for cosmetic appearance.
Range ready
Functional balls selected for practice, warm-up and shag bags.
Range, practice and high-loss situations.
If a ball does not meet the grade on the listing, it does not ship as that grade.
